Visit London: Leake Street Arches (aka The Graffiti Tunnel)

We arrived in London in the late afternoon, and there was not much to explore nearby on the first night (and we were all very exhausted), but we discovered that Leake Street Arches (aka The Graffiti Tunnel) was just a short walk away, and accessible 24 hours!

The tunnel is comprised of eight old railway arches beneath Waterloo station.  The fun and lively tunnel was full of graffiti everywhere you look - left, right, up, and down.

Throughout the tunnel are restaurants and bars, and we saw gatherings of people dancing.

The graffiti on London's longest, legal graffiti wall, ranged from complex art to simple tags, but altogether created a very neat experience.
