Rinka Japanese Restaurant

When people ask for recommendations on authentic Japanese restaurants, I always suggest Rinka Japanese Restaurant. The food is always of high quality and nicely presented, service is always great, and the atmosphere is relaxing and pleasurable.

I often order the beef sukiyaki off of their Lunch Set menu. It comes with rice (white or multi-grain), miso soup, Chawanmushi, pickled vegetables, and choice of 2 small sides.

Beef Sukiyaki Lunch Set

The Beef Sukiyaki was filling - it came with a lot of beef and veggies. The sukiyaki sauce had a strong flavor.

For the sides I chose the Agedashi tofu (my fave!) and fishcake with seaweed tempura. Both were delightful!

My friend ordered the Seafood Chirashi which included a bowl of udon, Chawanmushi and choice of 2 sides. The ingredients in the Chirashi looked very fresh.

Reservations are recommended as every table was taken during lunch service. Parking is available in the building (look for Wholefoods), although I prefer to park across the alley in the lot below Consolidated Theaters/Dave and Busters.

Online ordering is available.
