Visit Alabama: Three Georges Candy

We had some time while waiting to be called for a table for dinner, so we decided to walk around, and we came across Three Georges Candy.

Three Georges Candy has been creating sweet confections since 1917, offering chocolates, pralines, nuts, and so much more.

I decided to buy some omiyage and sweets for the kids.  I got some Cheese Straws, Pecan Turtles, Peanuts, and Moon Pies.

My favorite was the Pecan Turtle.  The chocolate was silky smooth, and so delicious.

The items were all pretty pricey, but the edible omiyage was quality, and I can respect what goes into the creations of this small local business.

Three Georges Candy is also a soda fountain and sandwich shop, so you can have a meal and then shop for treats!
