Magnolia Ice Cream & Treats

We went to Magnolia Ice Cream & Treats in Waipahu to get some Halo-Halo.

They offer this Filipino treat in a variety of flavors.

I Lava Lychee consisted of lychee ice cream, azuki beans, lychee, lychee jelly, lychee popping boba, and mochi.
Strawberry Love was much more colorful, with strawberry ice cream, strawberry jelly, crispy fruity rice, banana, macupono, fruit cocktail, coconut gel, and mochi.

Talk about a cupful of treats!  The kids loved it (it was their first halo-halos)!

If you want something lighter, you can just go for a cup of ice cream versus one with all the adding toppings and "bottomings," as they call it.
