Visit Hilo: Liko Lehua Cafe

Liko Lehua Cafe is widely known for their fruit butters, but I went to try some lunch.

I wanted the BLT, but sadly, they were out of bacon!  I ended up with the Portobello Mushroom Sandwich.
Portobello Mushroom Sandwich

It wasn't seasoned / marinated enough, but it was a decent sandwich, as the pesto, Havarti, and red onion helped to add flavor.

Jalapeno Burger

My friend enjoyed his Jalapeno Burger, which was topped with bleu cheese, pepper jack, cheddar,  jalapeƱos, tabasco, fried onions, and a garlic aioli (he requested the BBQ sauce to be added to the side).
Buffalo Chicken Salad

The Buffalo Chicken Salad was good.  The chicken had a nice kick to it and was tender.

Overall, I thought the food was good, and would definitely hope to try the BLT one day!
