Visit Hilo: Ginger & Turmeric Kitchen

I love Indian food, so I was excited to finally try Ginger & Turmeric Kitchen.

I ordered a Pau Hana kit, which included 1 Mini Garlic Naan, Creamy Butter Chicken Curry, Palak Tofu, Cumin Rice, Chili Garlic Potatoes, and Sauteed Cabbage with Green Peas, and a Chopped Salad.

Prices are on the high side for the serving sizes (I paid $41 for the above, pre-tip) compared to what I can get at similar places, but I thought the flavors were quite good.  I enjoyed the potatoes and the butter chicken the most.  I thought the Palak Tofu was a little underseasoned, but I appreciated the change from typical Palak Paneer.

If you're in Hilo and interested in trying Indian food, follow Ginger & Turmeric Kitchen on Instagram to find out when they'll be offering another food drop!
