Kamukura Ramen

Lately the weather here in Hawaii has been perfect for ramen! Since we were at Ala Moana to do some Christmas shopping, we decided to try Kamukura Ramen for the first time. They are located in the Ala Moana Lānai Food Court, which is on the mall level near Macy's.

I ordred the "Oishi Ramen", which is their most basic bowl of ramen. It comes with thin ramen noodles imported from Japan, pork, and lots of napa cabbage.

I wasn't a fan of the cabbage, but I loved the broth and the nooldes. I'm usually not a fan of thin noodles, but I liked these noodles were nice and firm. The broth was light and not super salty or thick.

The gyoza is pretty tasty but they come at a price - $7.99 for 5. I may opt to skip the gyoza and try the fried chicken next time around.
