Visit San Diego: Hidden Swing

When we went to San Diego for a cheer competition last month, we really didn't make any plans. We bookmarked a few places to eat, but we just decided to play it by ear around our daughter's schedule.

Facebook picked up that we were in San Diego so I started seeing events and articles regarding the local area on my feed.  One that captured my interest were hidden swings in a scenic area in La Jolla, which was just a short drive from where we were staying.

We arrived at the Birch Aquarium Parking lot about an hour before sunset. There is a small trail that is visible from the back upper parking lot. The trail is steep, but very short. We arrived at the swing in a couple of minutes and took a few minutes on the swing to enjoy the pretty ocean view.  But as with any IG worthy spot, don't expect to have the swings all to yourself especially close to sunset or sunrise.
