Take-out From Mei Sum Dim Sum Restaurant

On Christmas Day we ordered take-out from Mei Sum Dim Sum in Chinatown to take over to my mom's house for dinner. I placed our order about 45 minutes ahead of my desired pick up time, just in case they were busy or inundated with take-out orders. We found parking right in front of the restaurant on Nuuanu Avenue, and our order was just about ready when we arrived to pick it up. This is the first time I've picked up food from here so late in the day (4:30 pm).  Usually when I come here in the mid-morning they are much busier and street parking is hard to find.

I ordered a small variety of dim sum dishes (pork hash, shrimp dumpling, potstickers, fried seaweed roll, look funn with shrimp), house special crispy fried noodles, and string beans with minced pork.  Everything was tasty and it was a sufficient amount of food for three adults (with some leftovers for my mom to enjoy the next day).

Mei Sum is also open for dine-in. Call 808-531-3268 to place your order for take-out.  visit their website at: www.meisumdimsum.com.
