A Boy Called Christmas

Premiering today on Netflix is A Boy Called Christmas!

Synopsis:

An ordinary young boy called Nikolas sets out on an extraordinary adventure into the snowy north in search of his father who is on a quest to discover the fabled village of the elves, Elfhelm. Taking with him a headstrong reindeer called Blitzen and a loyal pet mouse, Nikolas soon meets his destiny in this magical, comic and endearing story that proves nothing is impossible.

I had a chance to watch a virtual screening (with some sweet treats just for the occasion), and what a delight it was! This wonderful family film combines whimsy, adventure, and the magic of Christmas to tell a touching story about Nikolas and his determination to find Elfhelm.

Despite harrowing odds, Nikolas, with the help of a few fantastical friends, embark on a journey to bring the joy of Christmas back to those who need it most.

The special effects, clever integration of Christmas names and symbols, and imaginative characters add to the fun of this wholesome family movie.

The holiday scenes and the story itself got me into the Christmas spirit, and the lesson behind the reason of giving is one that we all should be embracing.

Get the hot chocolate and popcorn and gather the family to watch this wonderful family movie on Netflix!
