Visit New Jersey: Rutt's Hut

Our first stop in New Jersey was Rutt's Hut, which is known for their "Rippers" (deep-fried hot dogs that are "ripped," or split open during the cooking process).  They were even voted Best Hot Dog in America and New Jersey!

You must top the hot dogs with the equally popular house made relish.

I don't eat a lot of hot dogs, but I thought they were really good.

People were ordering two at a time and smothering on the relish.  One was enough for me, but I would definitely eat it again.

Rutt's Hut also offers sandwiches, salads, steaks, and more, but you must try the Rippers if you go to Rutt's Hut!
