Visit New Jersey: Curiosity Doughnuts

We got a tip that on the weekends at Whole Foods Market in Princeton, you can find James Beard-nominated Curiosity Doughnuts, so we went on on a Saturday, just after 9am, waited in line for 22 minutes, and crossed our fingers they wouldn't sell out.

By the time we got to the front of the line, there was one S'mores left, but thankfully, many other varieties also left - enough that we could get one of each to make 2 Bakers' Dozens.

You'll find laminated brioche, super cake, chocolate yeasted, sourdough, and many, many more types of doughnuts and varietals.

The first doughnut I decided to dig into was the Franken-Doughnut - a doughnut made from doughnuts with a Banoffee Glaze.

It was one of the best doughnuts I've ever tried!

Alex Talbot is a master at crafting doughnuts, and if you ever get a chance to try his doughnuts, I highly recommend arriving early, and waiting patiently in line.  It's worth it!
