Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering at Disneyland

Mobile ordering at Cozy Cone Motel

It’s been 5 years since our last visit to Disneyland and a lot has changed. Currently, you need both a theme park reservation in addition to your park admission. Plus if you have a park hopper, you’ll need to choose the park you plan to start off at and then you can hop to the second park after 1pm.  There’s also virtual queues for two of the most popular rides. Star Wars Rise of the Resistance and Web Slingers: A Spider-man Adventure.
Also, coming very soon is Disney’s Genie+ Service which is replacing their fast pass system, but will cost you a fee.

The biggest change for my family was learning the ins and outs of the mobile ordering for our corn dogs, ice cream cones, and chowder bowls. While standing in line at the Cozy Cone Motel, we learned we had to put in our order through the mobile app and couldn’t just order at the window. Ordering and paying through the app is simple, but sometimes when it’s busy, the arrival time for you to pick up your food isn’t always instant. You will have to plan your day in case the earliest arrival time is 2 hours ahead.  Disney knows plans can change so you also have the option to cancel an order through the app.
