Sun Noodle x Momofuku Spicy Korean Ramen Kit Review

I was invited to pick up a Sun Noodle x Momofuku Spicy Korean Ramen Kit from the Sun Noodle factory, and since I love spicy, I was excited to give it a try!

This kit, which had been sold out on the mainland, is now available at Whole Foods Markets in Hawaii for a limited time only ($7.99).

The kit comes with two portions of the Sun Noodle x Momofuku-exclusive barley ramen noodles, and a spicy Korean gochujang-based sauce that really brings on the heat!

The vegan noodles can be eaten chilled or hot.

I made the Spicy Korean Ramen hot, and I topped it with egg, cucumber, shiitake, green onions, and sesame seeds.

If you love spicy, you will love this Spicy Korean Ramen Kit!

I love spicy, but I must admit - the sauce was pretty fiery.  I had to add more cucumbers to help tame the heat (it helped!).

Overall, I thought the ramen was delish, and I enjoyed the sweet / smoky sauce that gave the ramen a distinct, yet familiar flavor profile.

The Sun Noodle x Momofuku Spicy Korean Ramen Kit is definitely a must-try for those who love dishes with a lot of heat!
