Popeye's Chicken Nuggets - launching on July 27, 2021!

Disclosure: Complimentary product was received for review purposes.

The countdown begins, to Popeyes' launch of chicken nuggets to their stores nationwide on July 27, 2021.  If you recall back in 2019, when Popeyes rolled out their chicken sandwich, it went viral.  People were lining up in the drive thru or in-store to get their hands on these sandwiches. It was so popular, Popeyes actually 'sold out' of the chicken sandwich nationwide. When have you ever heard of that happening?!   Well, that just goes to show you how good those chicken sandwiches were (and still are!) and come July 27, you will be able to enjoy the same great flavor and juiciness in bite-size pieces!

Our family was delighted to receive an invitation to try the chicken nuggets before the official launch date. Fried chicken is one of few things that we all LOVE to eat!

Popeyes nuggets come in one classic flavor, and are made with white-meat chicken breast, marinated for 12-hours, breaded in buttermilk and fried to perfection.

I love that the same great crispiness and flavor of Popeyes fried chicken will now be available in bite-sized pieces! They can be consumed with two fingers, and one bite. And they are so juicy and flavorful that these nuggets can be enjoyed without any sauce.

But if sauces are your thing, you'll be happy to know that Popeyes has a handful of sauces to pair their nuggets with, including: Tartar, Sweet Heat, Bold BQ, Wild Honey Mustard, MardiGras Mustard, Creole Cocktail, Blackened Ranch, Bayou Buffalo, and Buttermilk Ranch.

My picky eaters gave these nuggets two thumbs up! They demolished a box of 12 and wanted to save some for the next day's school lunch.

For me personally, I love that these nuggets are made with real white meat chicken breast, and that they are boneless and bite-sized.  As a grazer, I like being able to pop one in my mouth here and there, without having to deal with chicken bones and messy fingers.

In addition to the nuggets, our generous sponsors also provided a couple of sides to complete our meal:

Cajun Fries

Mashed Potatoes

Biscuits

Thank you Popeyes Hawaii for giving this mama a break in the kitchen with this complete meal for our entire family!

Look for these chicken nuggets at Popeyes in-store, online, or on the app starting July 27, 2021. Chicken nuggets will come in one classic flavor, in meal sizes ranging from four to 36 pieces. Popeyes app and online users can also order a 48-piece meal.
