Thanks to Gem's Hi Sliders post in March, my mouth has been watering ever since. I finally got a chance to check out the new food truck in Mililani Shopping Center while my son and I waited for my car's safety check at the Goodyear nearby. Yes, that was your reminder to not let your safety check expire.
We decided to get the Sliders + Fries (which comes with two - 2 ounce sliders) and we added another 2 sliders for $4 more. The sliders come in pairs so we decided on the Bacon Jam Burger and the Kalua Pork Sliders. The Bacon Jam Burgers were immediately my favorite. It's made with house-made bacon jam, swiss cheese, and sriracha aioli. The Kalua Pork Sliders were tasty as well, but I would have preferred a BBQ sauce over the citrus herb aioli that it's served with. I really like BBQ sauce.
For the non-meat eaters, they offer a Black Bean Burger on the menu served with swiss cheese, fresh avocado, red onion, and sriracha aioli. I'm also really interested in their chicken and waffles sliders and checking out the rest of the menu that offers flatbread pizzas, tacos, and onion rings. Will be back soon! They are open daily from 11am to 8pm.
