La Cucina has been one of my favorite restaurants for homestyle Italian food ever since they opened in 2012. During COVID, they started offering take-out when dining in was prohibited, and they're still continuing to offer take-out despite opening up the dining room for patrons. Although it's hard to beat the freshness of dining in, take-out is the next best thing.
Here's what we enjoyed for take-out one recent evening:
Midollo Osseo (roasted bone marrow)
Pappardelle Bolognese and the (I requested spaghetti noodles instead of fettuccine).
Fettuccine Aragosta (I requested spaghetti noodles instead of fettucine)
Sorbetti
Everything was rich, flavorful, and memorable. The best part was that there was enough of each dish for leftovers the next day, so we got to enjoy this meal twice! I am looking forward to the day when I can find a sitter for my kids so that the hubby and I can enjoy a nice date night here.
