Mochi Mochi Hawaii

Mahalo Mochi Mochi Hawaii for the complimentary mochi!

If you live on Oahu and love mochi as much as I do (or know someone who does), you need to try Mochi Mochi Hawaii's handmade daifuku mochi and mochi bites.

These beauties are not easy to get.  I tried to place an order for Girl's Day, and the mochi sold out within minutes of going live (my fingers were not fast enough to complete my order online before everyone else!).  But the owner Jess, who is even sweeter than her mochi,  was nice enough to provide me with samples of her mochi at her pop-up a couple of weeks later, and it was love at first bite.

I got to sample three different flavors - matcha daifuku mochi, lavender daifuku mochi, and brownie dough mochi (pictured above).

The mochi is ultra-soft and I love the ratio of filling to mochi.  You get bit of filling in every bite. The brownie dough mochi was my most favorite of the three (although they were ALL REALLY GOOD!).  Each piece is made by hand, making this mochi all the more special.

Follow @mochimochihawaii to find out when the next pre-order pop up event will be!
