Kam Family Bakery's Garlic Sourdough

What started out as a pandemic activity for Nathan Kam, Partner / President of Anthology Marketing Group last year, has continued into a flourishing hobby, and an Instagram account, @kamfamilybakery, where he shares his sourdough baking creations.

For nearly a year I watched people get boules of bread from Nathan, and I was thrilled when I was finally one of the lucky recipients.

It was perfect just slathered with butter, and I couldn't resist using it to make some avocado toast!

It's neat to see how people have continued hobbies started during the pandemic - some even turning it into new careers.

Nathan still does PR and his bread-baking hobby is still just that - a hobby, but I seriously see him turning it into a money-making side-gig if he wanted to.

For now, you can follow him @kamfamilybakery, and if you're interested in getting a boule (or two), just send him a DM!

Some details:

He bakes a limited number of loaves each week for pickup/delivery on Saturdays and Sundays in the Pearl City area, and Mondays in the downtown Honolulu area.

Classic, garlic, and garlic rosemary loaves are $10 each with the proceeds benefiting the nonprofit organizations I support, which includes @jahawaii.

To pre-order (limit two per person per order), simply DM @kamfamilybakery your preference by Wednesday. Payment can be made via Venmo to @nathangkam upon pickup or delivery.
