Senia Pastry Box by Chef Mimi Mendoza

Chef Mimi Mendoza at Senia makes the most heavenly desserts (and one of my most favorite cookies in the entire world), and I was so excited to finally get in on one of her weekly Pastry Boxes (they are always sold out by the time I remember to order).

And I got in at the right time, because of this pastry box happened to feature so many flavors that I love!

Satsuma Creamsicle Travel Cake

Peanut Butter Sesame Brownies

Raspberry, White Chocolate, & Macadamia Nut Cookies

Babka Bread Pudding

Salted Caramel Pudding with Smoked Creme Fraiche

Banana Cream Pie

So many of these flavors and desserts are ones that I find familiar and comforting, but in true Chef Mimi style, they are completely elevated.

My favorite was the Babka Bread Pudding, which was amazing, and one of the best bread puddings I've ever eaten.

The Banana Cream Pie was another favorite.  It's one of the few types of pies I like, and the flaky crust and creamy banana filling was just perfect.  This was my kids' favorite dessert in the Pastry Box.

I also loved the Satsuma Creamsicle Travel Cake, because I love all things Creamsicle!

Salted Caramel, PB + Chocolate, and Raspberry + White Chocolate were other flavors featured in this Pastry Box, all of which I enjoyed in this dessert spread.

This Pastry Box was definitely a dessert dream come true, and I look forward to indulging in another Pastry Box!

Follow Senia on Instagram to find out when their takeaway menus go live, and don't hesitate to order a Pastry Box!
