Getting in the Club: Clubhouse: Drop-in Audio Chat

When I first heard about Clubhouse a few months ago, I wasn't interested.  Another social media app?  No thanks.  Who has time for yet another app?

How wrong I was...

If someone offers you an invite for Clubhouse, I suggest you accept it.

I've only been a listener so far, but I have found Clubhouse so useful!  I've discovered new people, businesses, and learned a lot of tips on branding, marketing, social media, and so much more.

What's neat is that you can listen to a variety of speakers share their expertise on certain topics, and these speakers include business owners, celebrities, athletes, chefs, foodies - you name it!

There are rooms that are there just for "fun," but I often find myself in rooms where I can learn something.  One of the most recent rooms I was in had experts speaking on the topic of eating insects.  It was so intriguing!

For those in Hawaii or interested in all things Hawaii, join the Hawaii Club, and you'll be notified of the many types of Hawaii Club-run rooms (food scenes, tourism, etc.).

For the most part, most of the rooms I've been in were very respectful and civil, but I've heard there are rooms in which some people have not been respectful.

So far I've really been enjoying Clubhouse.  Thanks to my co-worker Mark for the invite!  Find me at clubhouse @808gem!
