OREO Cheesecake Cookies

I was on the search for a recipe to use up OREOs and cream cheese that I still had leftover from the holidays, and I found a super easy OREO Cheesecake Cookies recipe.

Eating one of the cookies is almost like eating OREO Cheesecake - it's just in a different form!  The cookies are light and creamy, and taste yummy chilled!

OREO Cheesecake Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 8 oz pkg cream cheese, softened
  • ½ c butter, softened
  • ¾ c sugar
  • ½ t vanilla
  • 1 c flour
  • 15 OREOs, chopped
Instructions
  • In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese and butter until smooth.
  • Mix in sugar and vanilla until combined.
  • Stir in flour.
  • Mix in crushed cookies.
  • Cover dough and chill in refrigerator for at least an hour.
  • Scoop dough by 2-Tablespoonfuls onto parchment-lined cookie sheet, and bake in a pre-heated 350-degree oven for approximately 10-12 minutes.
  • Cool on cookie sheet for 2-3 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

You can find the original recipe here on Cookies and Cups.
