Nakamura x Sun Noodle Chef Driven Ramen Kit

Although currently sold out, the Nakamura x Sun Noodle Chef Driven Ramen Kit was one of several recent collaborations that brought popular ramen dishes throughout the nation directly to the home consumer.

With the pandemic affecting traveling and dining out, the Ramen Kits have been a way for people to enjoy some of their favorite ramen spots from around the world.

I was fortunate to have received a Nakamura NYC Torigara Shoyu Ramen Kit, which included Chicken Broth & Chicken Chashu made with 100% organic, Rhode Island Red Chicken, nori, and noodles from Sun Noodle.

It was a cinch to make the ramen - simply boil two pots of water, and in one pot place the broth pack, and in the other, the noodles.  Follow instructions on how long to keep both in the water.

Once the broth is heated through, pour the contents into a bowl, then add the cooked noodles (which only take a couple minutes to cook), and garnish with toppings of your choice.

I added the included chicken chashu and nori, as well as egg, kamaboko, bok choi, char siu, and green onions.
The broth was light, with flavors of ginger and kombu throughout.  It was perfect for the chilly weather we've been having!

I can't wait for more chef collaborations!

You can purchase Ramen Kits at sunnoodle.com.
