New at Jamba Juice Hawaii: Bursting Boba and Three New Menu Items!

Complimentary product was provided by our sponsor for review purposes. All opinions are my own.

Happy New Year!  Jamba Juice Hawaii (Jamba Hawaii) has started off the new year with new items on their menu that is taking the Jamba Hawaii experience to a whole new level.

First off, Jamba Hawaii has added BURSTING BOBA to their list of "boosts". Bursting boba are tiny balls filled with real fruit juice concentrate, and burst in your mouth when you bite into them. Available in orange and strawberry flavors, these tiny balls add a lot of flavor and punch to your smoothie or bowl.  Bursting boba boosts can be added to any smoothie or bowl for an additional charge (currently $1).

My sons were hesitant to try the bursting boba at first, but after the first sip/bite, they were hooked!

I tried it myself and I must say the bursting boba does add a lot more flavor to the smoothie.  I also like that it it adds some texture to the smoothie.

The bursting boba that Jamba Hawaii uses is smaller than the popping boba that are offered at boba tea houses and fro-yo establishments, therefore, no special straw is needed, and the chances of choking on the boba is minimal, which makes this a great add-on for keiki.

In addition to bursting boba, Jamba Hawaii also rolled out three new blends featuring the bursting boba boost, that are available for a limited time only:

  • Lava Flow Smoothie with Bursting Boba Boost: A piña colada smoothie with strawberry and apple coulis and strawberry bursting boba. This drink was a special menu item in the past that was so beloved that Jamba Hawaii has brought it back and added bursting boba!
  • Fire Flow Smoothie with Bursting Boba Boost: A piña colada smoothie with mango and orange coulis and orange bursting boba — a truly tropical taste!
  • Lava Flow Bowl with Bursting Boba Boost: This Jamba Energy Bowl™ is an edible version of the Lava Flow smoothie, erupting with strawberry and orange bursting boba.

We tried the Fire Flow Smoothie with Bursting Boba Boost, and we all loved it! The combination of piña colada (coconut and pineapple), mango, and orange flavors makes this smoothie taste like a tropical paradise. It was very refreshing and I would highly recommend this one!

The Bursting Boba boost is a permanent addition to the Jamba Hawaii menu, however the Lava Flow Smoothie, Fire Flow Smoothie and Lava Flow Bowl are only available through March 28, 2021, therefore don't wait too long to try them out!
