Another Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

I tried out yet another Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe today.  This one called for less flour, butter, and sugar than I normally use in chocolate chip cookie recipes, and although the cookies still turned out good, I'm still in search for "The One."

If you have a favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe, please share!

In the meantime, here is the recipe I used:

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 c flour
  • 1 t baking soda
  • 1/2 c butter, softened
  • 1/2 c brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 6 T sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 t vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 c chocolate chips

Directions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the flour and baking soda.
  • In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugars until creamy.
  • Mix in the egg and vanilla.
  • Stir in the flour mixture.
  • Add in the chocolate chips.
  • Scoop dough by heaping tablespoonfuls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10-13 minutes.
  • Let cookies cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

You can find the original recipe here on The Baking ChocolaTess.
