Teppanyaki Farmer

It's been a while since I've been to The Lanai at Ala Moana Center. After shopping at a couple of stores near The Lanai, I decided to pick up lunch to-go from Teppanyaki Farmer which is located in the Lanai.  I've known the chef and owner Kevin for many years, and it's good to see him still serving up one of the best steak plates on the island.

Da Original Steak Roll is the only thing I've tried on his menu.  It's what he's been known for ever since he started out as a food truck in the parking lot of Don Quijote many years ago.  It's a steak roll consisting of sliced rib-eye, filled with thinly sliced raw potato, topped with garlic chips.  If you've never been to the Teppanyaki Farmer before - I recommend you try this on your first visit!

The Lanai currently has seating inside if you want to dine-in.
