I've always believed that everything happens for a reason.
I feel very fortunate in many ways - I have my family, a home, my health... I'm not wealthy by any means, but I try to give back in little ways.
Those who know me well know the kinds of things I do.
And I always try to be kind and do the right thing.
Which is why it saddens me when people don't do the same.
We are living in a crazy, divisive, world right now. We are ALL dealing with a lot.
People make mistakes (I've definitely made many of them), but every action has a consequence.
I try to teach that with my kids - think before you act, because a single action can affect many people and trigger a wave of consequences.
