Panda General Store Hawaii is a new online grocery delivery service on Oahu, and I was fortunate to have received some store credit to try it out!
The online store offers products from national brands as well local businesses.
Local businesses are many, and include PAI Honolulu, Ham Produce & Seafood, Onda Pasta, and Mari's Gardens.
Customers can get everything from hand sanitizers to shoyu! You can get fresh fruit, seafood, pantry staples, eggs, even butane!
Once you select your items, there is an option for same-day delivery service (orders must be placed by 10am for same-day delivery), or you may schedule for delivery on a future date and time. Delivery is free for orders over $50, otherwise it's a flat rate of $9.99.
The day of your delivery, you'll get a text when the delivery is on its way, a tracking link, and another follow-up once the delivery arrives.
I loved that from the comfort of my own home, I could order groceries, including brands I've never tried before. I ordered products from Onda Pasta and Sun Noodles, as well as frozen marinated chicken that I can easily make for dinner one night.
Panda General Store was created by Andrew Tran, Evan Asato, and Eric Chu as an essential service for these current times.
With the dramatic surge in positive cases over the past couple of weeks, this service allows people to stay at home, where it's safe, while still getting their groceries.
As someone who has not stepped foot into a grocery store since March, I really appreciate this service, and I think it's great that Panda General Store offers products that you may not find in typical grocery stores (such as PAI XO and Fire Sauces).

How It Works
• Visit www.pgshawaii.com to create an online account.
• Browse and shop from a list of offerings by vendor or category.
• Process order and pay online.
• Schedule delivery for same day if order is placed before 10:00 a.m. or the next convenient date.
Delivery is free for all orders over $50 and flat rate of $9.99 for all orders under $50. Delivery can be
scheduled for up to Saturday of the same week to ensure freshness and availability of products. Online
ordering is available 24 hours daily with phone orders taken Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. Deliveries take place Monday through Saturday at scheduled time slots from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00
p.m.
