Granola Recipe

I enjoy eating granola, but never had the urge to make some myself until I started craving it the other day.

It's super easy!

Simply take 3 c old fashioned oats, 3 T brown sugar, 1 t ground cinnamon, 1/4 t salt, 1/3 c honey, 1/4 c vegetable oil, and 1 t vanilla extract, and mix them all together.

Place mixture evenly on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake in a pre-heated 300-degree Fahrenheit oven for 15 minutes.  Stir mixture, then bake for another 10 minutes.

Take out mixture and stir in 1 cup chopped nuts, and toss.  As it cools, the granola will harden.

Stir once more before using.  It's perfect on its own, mixed with some chocolate chips, or used as a topping for yogurts or smoothie bowls!

You can find the original recipe here on Chowhound.
