Hurricane Tips?

We had a very close call with Hurricane Douglas.  Thankfully, most of the state went unscathed.

One of things I think is great about social media during such times is how many share valuable tips on hurricane prep, what to do if the power goes out, or supplies to buy.

I sometimes find myself shopping on Amazon after a hurricane threat for gadgets and other items that could come in handy during an emergenc situation.

Fortunately, I haven’t had a need to use things I bought much or at all, but it is always good to be prepared.

What are your favorite emergency preparedness gadgets or supplies?
