Hokkien Bak Zhang

I love when friends cook or bake for me, so when a friend offered to make me Hokkien Bak Zhang, I of course said "Thank you!"

And then I asked "What is that?"

She said it was like mochi rice with meat inside.

I also googled it online, and found out that it's a popular type of rice dish that's wrapped in leaves and tied with twine.

It was so tasty, and very filling.

Thank you, Chun, for the thoughfulness!
