What:
Kids love to move! Yoga can be a fun way for children to learn a new way to move their bodies, while also learning how to be still and improving coordination. At this month’s virtual Town Center of Mililani Keiki Club, instructor Paula Celzo of Still & Moving Center will lead a free yoga class, especially for kids. Get ready for a fun, calming time, with this Keiki Club Watch Party on Facebook @TownCtrMililani and IGTV on Instagram @TownCenterofMililani.

Still & Moving Center, located in Honolulu, is a comprehensive body, mind and spirit movement center that features classes in Nia, aerial, yoga, qigong, hula, tai chi, kids classes, Pilates and other bodywork. Paula Celzo has led Kids Yoga & Art for the Still & Moving Center.

Be sure to snap some photos or record video to share with family and friends, as your keiki strikes a yoga pose during the free class. Tag them with #TownCenterOfMililani on Facebook @TownCtrMililaniand Instagram @TownCenterofMililani, for a chance to share on the center's pages. Town Center of Mililani Keiki Club takes place on the last Wednesday of every month and is open to keiki through 5th grade. The center is pleased to continue the club in this virtual format until it is safe to gather again in person. Please check towncenterofmililani.com for updates.

Families can also take part in the exciting, new “We Are Mililani” display at Town Center of Mililani. Community members can add their messages to the center’s show of hands display. At home, adults and kids can trace their hand on a piece of paper (any color will do) and add an encouraging message, a favorite quote, their initials and any other colorful additions. Cut out handprints can be dropped off at the center’s Management Office (weekdays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) or emailed to info@towncenterofmililani.com. These tracings will build the words “We Are Mililani” on a large window display at the center. It’s a great family activity that reinforces Mililani’s strong community pride. All are encouraged to join in.

Keiki can also enjoy a free “Starstruck Activity Book” downloadable from the center website. It includes coloring, counting, Mililani trivia, word scramble, word search and lots of fun activities for the kids. Completed activity books can also be dropped off at the center’s Management Office for a really cool prize (weekdays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) Town Center of Mililani is proud to offer activities that are fun for keiki and their families.

Please remember that face masks are required when shopping at Town Center of Mililani. While at the center, guests must also avoid large groups and practice social distancing. Those who are at higher risk for illness, such as the elderly, those ill, recently ill or who have been around sick people should stay home, as needed, to help keep everyone on Oahu safe. The center follows federal and local health guidelines. The safety of its guests and the Mililani community is the center’s top goal, with increased sanitation methods and cleaning protocols using CDC approved cleaning agents.

Visit the center’s website at towncenterofmililani.comfor up to date information on tenant openings, including current hours and services. Individual store policies and hours may vary, so customers are highly encouraged to check the website in advance.

Located in the heart of Central Oahu and Mililani Town, the center has a long history of connecting its community together. Follow and tag photos of #TownCenterOfMililani on Facebook @TownCtrMililani and Instagram @TownCenterofMililani. See towncenterofmililani.com.
