Keto Garlic Butter Salmon Recipe

The American Heart Association recommends 2-3 servings of fish per week. We try to get that in by eating salmon, since it's known as a great source of protein, rich of Omega-3s and Potassium, and may reduce the risk of heart disease.

Since I'm usually short on time, I'll simply pan fry slices of salmon with oil and salt (mixed in with onions to give it some flavor).  But tonight I wanted to change it up, so I googled easy salmon recipes and found this recipe on Delish.com. They call the recipe "Keto", so if you're one of the many who are on the keto diet, you'll definitely want to try this one out!

I didn't "follow it to the T", but it still turned out great!

Here's how I made it:
  • Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
  • line baking pan with foil and spray with cooking oil
  • melt approximately 2 Tablespoons of butter in microwave
  • combine melted butter, two cloves of minced garlic, and Kraft Parmesan Cheese
  • pour mixture over salmon fillets
  • sprinkle garlic salt and pepper
  • bake for 22 minutes
  • turn oven up to high broil and broil for additional 2-3 minutes

Hopefully next time I will have parsley and FRESH Parmesan cheese on hand!
