I Finally Tried Boba Ice Cream Bars!

I was torn when I first saw this craze hit Hawaii.  On one hand, I really wanted one of those boba ice cream bars, but on the other hand I really, really rather stay at home.  When I saw they were available at Teapresso, I totally tried to see if they could be delivered through Bite Squad.

I tried not to be envious of those enjoying the boba-ful bars, but the social media posts weren't stopping.  On my first try, I struck out at Pacific Supermarket but I was able to pick up flour so not a total loss.  The next day while I was driving home from work, I thought about Palama Super Market in Waimalu.  I made a quick Siri assisted call and they said they had!

It was love at first bite.  The ice cream is creamy and the boba is sweet and perfectly soft and chewy.  Both my kids loved it too.  I would definitely buy it again and I have!  I went back to Palama Super Market a couple of days later and was able to snag the second to the last box.  At $9.99 for a box of 4 it may break the bank, but not your waistline at only 154 calories per bar!  I'm actually a little thankful for the one box per customer limit as I can/would eat this every day if I could.
