Passing Time with Puzzles

Before the SIP was implemented, we bought puzzles for the kids for family time and to keep them engaged.  Who knew puzzles would end up being in such high demand this year?

We’ve been passing some of the time at home putting together puzzles  So far we’ve done a 500-, 750-, and 2000-piece (or more like 1999, because 1 piece was missing).  Now we’re on a 1000-piece puzzle.

The 500 & 750 pieces took 1-2 days each.  The 2000-piece (yard sale scene) took about 3 weeks.  My kids lost interest after a while because it was so big.

But we’re back doing a fourth puzzle, and so far the kids seem more engaged (it’s a produce puzzle).

How are you passing the time at home?
