Kamaboko Puffs

I found a recipe for Kamaboko Puffs online, and they turned out to be quite easy to make.  I tweaked the recipe based on what I had on hand (since I didn't want to venture out).

Kamaboko Puffs

Ingredients:
  • 1 block kamaboko, grated
  • 3 stalks green onion, chopped
  • 1/2 medium onion, chopped
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2-4 TB water
  • oil for frying
Directions:
  • In a large mixing bowl,  combine all ingredients except oil.
  • In a large skillet, heat oil to medium high.
  • Drop batter by teaspoonful; brown on both sides (about 3-5 minutes each side).
You can find the original recipe here on Cooking Hawaiian Style.
