KOROMO katsu and curry bistro

Koromo katsu and curry bistro, which quietly opened in Pearlridge a couple of weeks ago, is the talk of the town these days, and for good reason. The food is excellent, and so is the service.

When you are presented with a mortar, pestle, and sesame seeds, you know you're in the right place.

There are two housemade katsu sauces to choose from - sweet and spicy.

Included with every meal is tsukemono and miso soup.

Tonight I tried the ebi fry and chicken thigh teishoku. The ebi pieces were larger than expected!

The chicken was really moist and tender!  You may be tempted to order this with curry, but you should try the chicken katsu by itself, so that you can see how crispy and juicy the chicken really is.

I will definitely be back!
