Fukuya Ramen

One rainy day, I intended to go to my favorite saimin spot on the island in Wahiawa, only to find out it was closed.  Thankfully, Fukuya Ramen was nearby.  It had only opened a few months ago in a spot that has seen frequent turnover.

My husband and I each ordered a combo set.

I ordered the Chicken Katsu Ramen Combo, which came with a mini chicken katsu ramen, mini fried rice, and 4 pieces gyoza.

It was a lot of food for a reasonable price ($11.50).  I thought the chicken katsu was good, and the gyoza was delicious.  The ramen and the broth, along with the fried rice, were both okay.

My husband ordered the Mochiko Chicken Curry Combo, which included a mini mochiko chicken curry rice, mini ramen, and 4 pieces gyoza.

I wish I had gotten chicken katsu curry instead of the chicken katsu ramen after tasting the curry.  It was yummy!

Overall the food and service were both good.

Hoping they will have more luck in the space than the previous tenants have had!
