Fook Lam

Last week I went to have dim sum with a few foodie friends at Fook Lam.

It was my first time there, and actually one of only a handful of dim sum experiences I've ever had.

Thankfully, my friends were either frequent customers of Fook Lam or very familiar with popular dim sum dishes.

One of my friends at lunch said the Xiao Long Bao at Fook Lam is the best in the state!

My favorite was the Short Rib Look Fun Sizzling Pot.  I think I could've eaten the entire pot myself!  I love Look Fun, and the Short Ribs were tender and flavorful.

I also really enjoyed the XO Sauce Turnip Cake.

I also liked a lot of the more familiar items, such as the shrimp dumplings and char siu bun.  I tried a lot of new dishes and learned a lot too.

Fook Lam was crazy busy.  Reservations are highly recommended.
