Visit Kauai: Kiawe Roots

Kiawe Roots in Koloa specializes in kiawe-smoked ingredients, as well as a menu full of  local favorites with a twist.

Banana Bread French Toast

Smoked Brisket Sandwich

Soba Noodles

Kimchi Fried Rice

Smoked Cheese Pasta
I had the Kimchi Fried Rice, and it was really good.  The presentation was reminiscent of Bi Bim Bap!  The Fried Rice was also topped with potatoes, bacon, Portuguese sausage, green onions, carrots, sprouts, and eggs.  All of the different flavors and textures melded together nicely.

There is no kids meal, but fortunately each of the kids found something on the menu they wanted.

Everyone in our family devoured their meals - we had no leftovers!

Service was great, and we definitely left Kiawe Roots happy and satisfied.
