Skin Regimen Review

Last summer, after two weeks in the Midwest, I came home with unbelievably dry, flaky, rough skin - all over my body.

Luckily, the day after I returned, I went to a media event at Neiman Marcus where attendees were gifted with Skin Regimen.

About Skin Regimen:
/skin regimen/ is the new skincare brand for urban dwellers, who want to look and feel at their best every day. As graphically represented in the logo slashes, /skin regimen/ is for those who thrive in today's fast-paced times, yet wanting to keep their skin healthy and youthful for longer.
/skin regimen/ was created by [ comfort zone ], the skincare division of the family-owned company Davines. Founded in Parma, Italy in 1983, the group is guided by Dr. Davide Bollati, a cosmetic chemist and visionary entrepreneur known for his sustainable approach to beauty. The Davines Group became a certified B Corporation in December 2016 with the purpose of making our business a source of positive impact for people and the planet.
The Skin Regimen formulas contain Modern Plant Chemistry - highly concentrated powerful botanicals and high-tech molecules, and Longevity Complex - an exclusive mix of organic superfood extracts.

The products are designed to be used in layers to combat all sorts of skin imperfections.

I received the Cleansing Cream, Microalgae Essence, 10.0 Tulsi Booster, Tripeptide Cream.

The first step in my twice-daily routine was to use the Cleansing Cream. The foaming cream is great for removing residue - makeup, sunscreen, dirt.

The next step was the Microalgae Essence, which helps to rehydrate the skin.

Third was the 10.0 Tulsi Booster. Tulsi is an Indian herb used in Ayurvedic medicine. The 10.0 Tulsi Booster offers antioxidants to promote radiance.

Last in the routine was the Tripeptide Cream. This final layer protects skin and keeps it hydrated.

Each of the products went on effortlessly (a little goes a long way), and provided a dose of natural aromatherapy as well, as Skin Regimen formulas contain Juniper, Copahu, Rosewood, and Cedarwood essential oils.

As for how they work - well, I've been using them for the past 6 months, and I am exceptionally pleased with how my skin looks and feels.  Even though I'm often told I have nice skin (from friends and from spa therapists), I can always tell when my skin is not looking and feeling its best (primarily when I travel - after my Midwest trip, I saw noticeable results in just two days!).

The Skin Regimen products work for me, and I love that they contain organic ingredients, as I'm trying to be more conscious of what goes onto my skin.

I definitely plan to restock once I run out of the Skin Regimen products!
