Best Western The Plaza Hotel

A couple of years ago I stayed at the Best Western The Plaza Hotel, which had just gone under renovations.  I was pleasantly surprised with how nice the rooms turned out, and I always recommend it to Hawaii residents that don't like to face the crowds in Waikiki or who simply have a quick stay on Oahu.

The rooms are quite spacious, with a microwave and refrigerator, and the air conditioning worked really well.

Guests also get access to free Wi-Fi.

An outdoor pool, fitness center, and convenience store is on-site.

One of the biggest changes at the hotel since my last stay is that the hotel now offers a free breakfast buffet!

The offerings were plentiful - eggs, meats, waffles, cereal, breads, and more!

Self-parking is available for a nominal fee (kama`aina discounts available), and there is a complimentary 24-hour airport shuttle.

My colleagues had to catch the first flight out to the Big Island, and the front desk employee and shuttle driver did a fantastic job in making sure they did not miss their flight.

Each team member we encountered was warm and friendly, and provided great customer service.

Whether you're staying on Oahu for business or pleasure, the Best Western The Plaza Hotel is a great option!
