PAI Honolulu

PAI Honolulu is on of my favorite restaurant's on the island.  Chef Kevin Lee is always introducing new and exciting menu items, some of which I had a chance to try during a recent visit.

Beet Salad
The Beet Salad was lovely, with whipped ricotta and hazelnuts for a nice, contrasting texture.
Pork Schnitzel
The Pork Schnitzel was amazing, served with a bacon and mushroom cream, crispy whole wheat spaetzle, and braised red cabbage.  I'm glad this Oktoberfest Special remains on the menu.

Buttermilk Fried Mushrooms
The Buttermilk Fried Mushrooms is one of my favorite dishes at PAI.  I could've eaten the entire dish myself.

Sunchoke Risotto
I loved the Sunchoke Risotto.  The medley of veggies combined with the creamy risotto was just comforting!

Hong Kong Milk Tea Ice Cream

Lilikoi Bar

Pumpkin Bread Pudding
The Pumpkin Bread Pudding is a seasonal dessert, and it was delicious, but I absolutely loved the Lilikoi Bar.  I was surprised, because I don't normally care for tart or fruity desserts, or anything with matcha, but the Lilikoi Bar had an almond cookie crust which was absolutely divine, and the matcha was very light.

It's always a pleasure to dine at PAI!
