Visit Hilo: Poly Feng Yuan

When looking at the menu for Poly Feng Yuan, a Chinese restaurant in Hilo, I was surprised to find Gravy Fries!  The gravy-fries-loving person that I am had to order some, of course!

I thought the fries were really good, and I was glad I ordered the gravy separately (for $.35 extra), because it was Chinese gravy vs the typical brown gravy that I like with my fries.

Other items we ordered were:
Mongolian Beef

Ginger Chicken

Black Pepper Short Rib

Garlic Sauteed Bok Choy
The consensus was that the food was okay - a little underseasoned or overcooked here and there, but at least I know they have good fries!
