New Hyapen Lip Enhancement Service at Kristin Wood

Disclosure: complimentary service was received. All opinions are honest and entirely my own.

I have been going to Kristin Wood for eyelash extensions for years and I love it so much, I hope to never stop going.  The extensions save me so much time in the morning that it’s been life changing.  My natural lashes are super short and sparse so with the extensions, I think, “Wow! This is what it feels like to be born with thick lashes.”  The good news is that it doesn’t have to stop there.

Kristin Wood has introduced the Hyapen Lip Enhancement to her lineup of beauty services.  It’s needle-less, non-invasive, and painless!  Did I mention needle-less?!  The Hyapen uses adjustable pressure to deliver the filler – Hyaluronic Acid, a substance that’s naturally present in our bodies, to give clients a natural looking lip enhancement with no down time.

I had my service done with Akira Wood, Kristin’s son.  The service takes about an hour which includes a consultation.  With the service, you receive 2 ampules of filler.  Being my first time, I wanted a very subtle improvement and opted for 1 ampule.  If you use less than the 2 ampules and decide you would like a little more to enhance your look you can return to Kristin Wood within 10 days to add more filler.  That’s a great option for clients like me that like to start small.

The Hyapen procedure was pretty quick and honestly painless.  The click of the pen is at first a little startling, but Akira counted each time so I knew when to expect it.  Afterwards, although it’s hard to tell in the pictures, my lips felt plumper and fuller.  My daughter noticed right away although my husband and son did not (surprise, surprise).  Most importantly, I can tell and I like the look of it.  The enhancement lasts up to two months and even longer if you stay hydrated.

For more information, call Kristin Wood at 808-738-7386.  She has two locations, Kapahulu and Kaka’ako, for your convenience.
