Clinical-Grade Facial with Modern Aesthetics Hawaii

I used to consider facials as a frill; a once in a while treat yourself kind of thing.  But after one clinical-grade facial with Master Clinical Aesthetician, Paula Hu, I now realize it is a necessity if your goal is beautiful skin.  Paula has over 14 years of experience in skincare and in June opened Modern Aesthetics Hawaii where she blends clinical treatments with that spa feel.  I was amazed by my results just after one treatment and am definitely headed back for more in the recommended 4-6 weeks!

Each of Paula’s treatments are 90 minutes and begin with a thorough skin consultation.  My latest concern were these tiny white bumps on my face which she diagnosed as milia.  She informed me they could be removed, but could cause some bruising.  She added they sometimes reach the surface on their own.  I appreciated her sharing this knowledge with me and decided not to extract them at the time since my skin needed to be glowing for the weekend.  

After a deep cleansing of my skin, she took a closer look and decided on a very gentle but effective chemical peel.  She also let me experience an amazing SilkTox mask that is full of antioxidants to tighten and brighten the skin.  She finished off my facial with an O2 Blast treatment that infuses hydrating serums with refreshing oxygen into the skin.  My face was seriously glowing when she was done working her magic.  There was zero downtime.
