Visit Omaha: Stirnella Bar & Kitchen

One of my favorite restaurants in Omaha was Stirnella Bar & Kitchen, a gastropub specializing in farm to table fare.

Ramp Gnocchi

Deviled Farm Eggs

Short Rib
The Ramp Gnocchi was soft and pillowy, and bursting with flavor. The gnocchi was served with fava beans and king trumpet mushrooms in a vibrant asparagus sauce.

I especially loved the Deviled Farm Eggs, which were topped with ham and smoked trout roe, and served with a ramp aioli.

The Short Rib was served with a grit cake and a sweet pepper relish.  The meat was tender and went well with the charred poblano sauce.

A small kids menu is available with three items at $10 each:
Butter Noodles

Fried Chicken

Grilled Cheese

The service was pleasant, and I would highly recommend Stirnella to those looking for fresh finds in farm to table dining.
