New in Waikiki - Aloha Steak House

Aloha Steak House is now open in Waikiki! Brought to the island by Zetton, Inc., the company behind Aloha Table Waikiki, Goofy Cafe & Dine, Heavenly Island Lifestyle, ZIGU, and Paris.Hawaii, Aloha Steak House offers steaks, seafood, salads, and even a kids' meal, all at affordable prices and in very casual, laid back ambience.

Aloha Steak House offers a daily special lunch set for just $18.  We visited on a Saturday, and the special was Steak + Hamburger Steak.

Steak + Hamburg Steak
Each entree comes with a side of rice or salad.  For $2, you can get a garden salad + rice or cup of corn soup + salad.
Cup of Corn Soup

Garden Salad
For $4, you could get all three items - soup, salad, and rice.  For an extra $3, you can get a mini curry sauce.
Dipping sauces accompany the steak and hamburger steak, but you really don't need them.  The meats are perfectly seasoned and so tasty on their own.  However, the dipping sauces do add a nice layer of flavor.  Our server, Lisa, even recommended we pour the steak sauce on the rice - so yummy!  I highly recommend getting the curry sauce - it was so good, and even more delicious on the rice!

Sauteed Mushrooms

Beef Bolognese Cheese Doria
I ordered the Beef Bolognese Cheese Doria.  I ate the entire dish.  And I ate all of the mushrooms.  SO GOOD!

Rice and mushrooms were topped with cheese and a beef bolognese to create such a simple, yet comforting and cheesy dish.  The sauteed mushrooms were really good too.

I could not pass up dessert, and the cheesecake and soft serve did not disappoint.
Gorgonzola & Honey Cheesecake
The cheesecake was Japanese-style - lighter than the typical American-style cheesecake, but I really enjoyed it.  The Gorgonzola flavor was mild, yet pleasant, and I loved eating the cheesecake with the honeycomb.
Watermelon Ice Cream
I'm not a fan of watermelon-flavored treats, but I couldn't stop eating the watermelon ice cream.  It was as yummy as it was IG-worthy!

Our server was very friendly and gave great recommendations, and you could tell how much she loved the food.  We did have to check on a drink order, but other than that, service was good, and our entire experience at Aloha Steak House was great.

I definitely want to return with the kids!
