Waioli Kitchen and Bakeshop

I had never been to the Waioli Tea Room in Manoa so I was very interested when the historic tea room recently opened up as Waioli Kitchen and Bakeshop. The interior is warm and inviting and there is plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors.  The kitchen and bakeshop is open for breakfast and lunch from Tuesday through Sundays from 7:30am to 2pm.

My friends and I decided to share most of the breakfast menu. We ordered the acai bowl, short rib loco moco, banana mac nut pancakes, and a blueberry scone - which they are most popular for.  We enjoyed every dish, but our favorite were the fluffy pancakes.  The scone was also a winner.  Definitely pick one of those up! I am looking forward to returning to try out their lunch menu.

I love how cute the menu boards are. Order here and your food will be delivered to your table.
Do not miss the scones!
The acai has a sorbet texture which I loved!

We got our short rib loco moco with fried rice.  The meat was tender and very flavorful.
