We couldn't leave New Zealand without trying New Zealand Natural ice cream. 

Using only premium ingredients, this Christchurch-born, award-winning ice cream has numerous locations throughout the world. We stopped at the kiosk in the WestCity Waitakere shopping center.

Hobbit Crunch
The Hokey Pokey, New Zealand's unofficial ice cream, is a must-order.  New Zealand Natural uses a butterscotch flavored ice cream for the base.

Of course we couldn't resist the Hobbit Crunch as well - caramel ice cream with chunks of cookies, dark chocolate pieces and a chocolate fudge ripple.

The ice creams were, rich, creamy, and delicious!

Smoothies, donut cones, and other fun confections are also offered!
